Cortlin Davis of Snead State has been named the ACCC Player of the Week for the week of December 7-13.
Davis led the Parsons to a 73-63 victory over Wallace-Selma by scoring 24 points, going 9 of 13 from the field, including 4 of 6 from three. He also added 10 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 assists, and 3 blocks.
The Birmingham, AL and Shades Valley High School leads the Parsons in points per game (14.7), steals per game (2.1), blocks per game (1.4), made field goals, and free throw attempts. Davis also ranks second free throw percentage at 77%, rebounds per game (6.5), and assists per game (3.0 assists).
Snead State, 5-7, is off until January 1 when they participate in the Wallace State New Year's Classic.
